Caferati is a forum for writers. We started off as the Bombay
Writers' Cafe, but quickly outgrew the name as members flocked in from different cities. Now, though
most of our membership is in India, that is not a pre-condition for joining.
Our focus is writing in English.
Is this the right forum for you?
If you write because you must or burst, if you take pleasure in playing with
the written word, if you want to work hard at your writing, if you want to
read developing writers and provide feedback, you're in the right place.
If, on the other hand, you think grammar and spelling is for dorks, if all you want to do is show off the poem your friends tell you is wonderful, if you're sure your writing can't get any better, you perhaps will not like it here.
